Winemaker Casey Graybehl eats, drinks and sleeps Grenache (both Noir and Blanc), building his one man operation completely around these two varietals. His commitment to the grape has paid off and he’s crafted a stunning 2017 red from the Mathis vineyard up above Boyes Hot Springs. Perched on the eastern edge of Sonoma Valley, this is a bold expression of Grenache full of strawberry, pomegranate and sweet spice
aromatics. Rich, juicy red currant and cherry flavors mingle on the palate with hints of roasted meats and forest floor, all leading to a long, lingering finish reminiscent of a fine Southern Rhone.
